The Chinese Basketball Association, CBA for short, was established in June 1956. The CBA is a national mass sports organization with independent legal representation, and it is a nationwide, nonprofit, membership organization which is composed of basketball associations, industrial basketball associations, and correspondent PLA sports organizations from provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. It is a group member of the All-China Sports Federation, is recognized by the Chinese Olympic Committee, and is the only legitimate organization that represents China to participate in the International Basketball Federation and the Asian Basketball Confederation. Dr. Chen’s STaR Studio has conducted physical rehabilitation training for many CBA players, so the injured athletes could return to basketball court and excel.
